Display Screen Equipment User and Supervisors Course

Description

As an employer, it is your responsibility to ensure the health, safety and welfare of your staff. This includes ensuring not only that the Display Screen Equipment (DSE) that they use is safe but also that it is correctly configured for their use.

For example, a poorly configured workstation could encourage poor posture. With prolonged use, this could lead to muscle pain, fatigue visual discomfort and even strains and aching joints.

It is important therefore, not only for the health of your staff, but also for your own piece of mind that workstations are correctly configured and used properly by staff members.

Remember that many staff members spend several hours a day using display screen equipment, but may be unaware of the health and safety issues that such use can pose. An effective way to address this lack of knowledge is by providing an effective and interesting course of training. This will help to educate staff members and raise awareness of the potential health issues. This will enable your staff to assess their own workstations and ensure that they take suitable measures to make their environment safe, ergonomically sound and comfortable.

This course is suitable for a wide range of individuals including and is particularly suitable for those whose work involves the use of Display Screen Equipment and those who are required to supervise such activities.
